Drive K:

OK. So, apparently you can install a laptop hard drive to a desktop. I just needed the SATA cord , after I bought a used hard drive. An extra power hook-up was already in the desktop. It was pretty straight forward adding the second hard drive to my computer. First, unplug the computer and open it up. Second, patch the cords and put everything in place. Third, press F2 on system startup, enter the BIOS and open up the next SATA port from the menu. Luckily I got the right one on the first try. Finally, fumble with some software trying to get your new drive letter to appear in the “My Computer” Folder.
