Saturday, September 22, 2012 – The Fallout Festival w/ Love and Opium, Full-Blooded Mutt, Speak, The Slobbies, 3sk, Ferriz, Krayze Pope, Sheez Late and more

The Fallout Festival 2012 is just around the corner and this one’s going to be packed -I can just feel it. We got bands, we got rap, we got motor cross…should I go on? We got walls of live graffiti, b-boy battles, skate boarders on quarter pipes, booths of items for sale, food and much more. The Fallout Festival is put on by Art Attack Entertainment. The Fallout Festival is Arty Walch‘s yearly show, for his friends to show of all their artistic and professional contributions -and this show is going to rock! Plus, feel good about a portion of proceeds being donated to the American Diabetes Foundation -you’ll rock AND make a difference too! This year MassBands.org is taking over the main stage, and booking ninety percent of the acts. I just grabbed another web domain to promote the event. Check out my new TLD, FalloutFestival.info [ http://www.FalloutFestival.info/ ] for the latest up to date info and links for the Fallout Festival 2012 in Shrewsbury, MA. Here is who we got going on, on the main stage roaster:

Two more opening acts (11:45AM-12:30PM, 12:45PM-1:30PM) have just been added, and we’re just going to have an awesome show that day, with lots of different types of music. There will be something for everyone to enjoy! The Fallout Festival 2012 will be held at the SAC Club (Scandanavian Athletic Club), in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, on Saturday, September 22, 2012. The SAC club is located at 438 Lake Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545-3958.  Again, the show starts at 10:00AM. These two new added acts were hand picked by Arty and were brought in last minute as the show has grown in to what is sure to be the biggest event of the year, hands down. There will be stunts shows: 2:30-3:00 sick and nasty,3:30-4:00 Freestyle force BMX, 4:30-5:00 sick and nasty, 5:30-6:00 freestyle force bmx, 6:30-7:00 sick and nasty, 7:30-8:00 freestyle force BMX. This show is really going to take off this year. I’ve got a feeling about this one.

Fallout Festival 2

So again, I hope you all can make it out to the show this year. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door. Get your tickets in advance at Brown Paper Tickets or Art Attack Entertainment‘s website. I’ve really got an awesome feeling about this year, I think it’s going to be packed with crowds of people this year. That’s alright, this venue can hold ’em. “To infinity and beyond!”, says the life re-animated toy robot!! 🙂

PS  I just check out Arty’s blog, we’re going to have horses there at the show. Two m*th*rf*ckin’ horses! Holy shiat!

Recording Techniques

I’m psyched to have a studio to record music in finally! What a change from “apartment recording”, I can actually bring everything to full volume! Sweet! Practicing late at night has it’s bonuses too. As Full-Blooded Mutt‘s recording session flies along, I would like to share some of the new recording techniques I’ve mastered. Now keep in my mind our studio set-up is a might lo-fi compared to high-end studios. Short of upgrading our sound card/interface a few hundred dollars, we are recording with two channels on to twenty-four or more tracks. Keep in mind, The Beatles recorded the Sgt. Peppers album on a four track. They just never said how many four tracks they used. In recording, I’ve always preferred to be at the limits of my audio gear, rather than have a ton of gear I barely know how to use!

Woot! Woot! We have an awesome show planned for y’all. Saturday, August 27, 2011, an end of summer show featuring Planetoid, 138, Full-Blooded Mutt and The Slobbies. Dodge Street is sure the happening place, and what better band is there to headline it than Planetoid? Straight from another galaxy, through the threads of time and space; they’re going to rock the house down. With their melodic crunch riffs or their mind numbing time changes they are sure to deliver. Here’s what they had to say on their website:

Event: Saturday 7-16-11 at The Tavern Framingham

I am really looking forward to Full-Blooded Mutt‘s first show in a year. We are going to be headlining at The Tavern, in Framingham, with some really awesome bands; we’re playing Saturday, July 16, 2011. On the bill that night will be The Slobbies, and their most awesome brand of slob-rock. They are one of the most entertaining bands I’ve seen in a while. Their music gets you pumping, and you’ll love the improvisational and impromptu piano solos. Calling it punk infused jazz wouldn’t even do their music justice, as it is most definitely a broader swarth of the music genres.
